Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Systems (MTH) is globally recognised for its high-quality transport refrigeration units and reliable service. Its expertise in the field is supported by a long history of experience that spans international markets.

MTH was established in 1964, and designed and manufactured its first transport refrigeration unit (TRU) in 1967. Having sold more than 200,000 of its TRUs in the Japanese market, and more than 10,000 in Germany, MTH boasts a strong global portfolio that is a testament to its premium products.

MTH’s technology, which didn’t reach the Australian market until 2008, was sorely needed, with customers expressing their desire for variety and quality in transport refrigeration equipment.

Throughout a six-year trial of MTH’s TRUs in Australia, customers found that the equipment not only coped exceptionally well in the harsh Australian climate, but the introduction of this equipment also provided one of the most cost-effective and reliable TRUs on the market.

Now with more than 150 units have been sold in the Australian market since 2015 and a growing customer base built on a reputation for excellent service, it won’t be long before Mitsubishi is considered a go-to brand in the Australian market for TRUs.
